I was born on BC’s central coast, raised in Deep Cove, spent my summers on Okanagan Lake and, other than the university years, I’ve lived in Vancouver all my adult life. I identify strongly with this region, continually stunned by its jaw-dropping beauty, and its fragility.
On the home front, I’m a solo empty nester, who recently did a radical downsize into a dream ‘tiny-house-in-the-sky’ (aka, my own West End studio). And yes, thinning the bookshelves was the hardest part…
Vocationally, I’ve had the opportunity to be both stimulated and challenged by some big jobs in town; interspersed with satisfying stretches of self-employment. I adore this community and am always fired up to elevate its crucial work.
